Natalie Cassidy briefly reprised the role of Sonia in 2010, before doing so again in 2011. In Channel 4's Very Important People, impressionist Morgana Robinson has brilliantly lampooned the star's waning status since she left the soap: "Alright? I'm Natalie Cassidy. Used to be Sonia off EastEnders... I'm just doing this now." Will she be back in Albert Square yet again? Don't bet against it.

Christ Almighty - that flaming show is packed to the rafters of "comebacks". If that's all they can rely on to get their ratings up, it sure as hell doesn't say much for the rubbish!!

For many years lots of commentators have said certain actors have used Eastenders as a moneybox or a job stopgap , and we can all see why . Why no mention of Babs Windsor ? . All the returners usually disappear around panto time . They should be like the characters that play the Barlows in Corrie - be glad of the money and regular work .
