Sue Johnston as Gloria Price
Sue Johnston is one of the UK's most treasured actresses. It was her truly remarkable performance as Sheila Grant in Channel 4's iconic soap Brookside that first won her plaudits.
Since then, she has graced the screen with her presence in a number of vehicles ranging from perennial favourite The Royle Family to Sky Living sitcom, Gates.
Now Sue is due to arrive in Coronation Street as meddling Gloria Price, the mother of Stella (played by EastEnders legend Michelle Collins).
Find out more about Gloria in this gallery.
Looking forward to it, got to love Corrie, still the best and always will be, humour is fab. For those who trash it, go take a hike along the M1
Just love Sue Johnston she is a wonderful actress and will be a great 'breath of fresh air' - something that Corrie needs right now!!
Good luck Sue, you bring some magic quality to whatever roll you play!
Coronation St will be the better for having you on it.
Love her to bits, have watched her in everything she's been in. I am so looking forward to this!
Looking forward to watching Sue in Corrie!
Looking forward to watching Sue in Corrie!

Are you enjoying yourself at your keyboard DICTATING what everybody else should be doing? Instead of doing that why dont you take your own advice to do something more beneficial to others? Everybody has their "soma" incuding yourself - your soma consists of watching Youtube videos and brainwashing yourself with conspiracy theories. Why dont you stop following their script and be a real free thinker?
Corrie should be great with Sue Johnston, I just hope she is given time out the Rovers to do her Barbara duties in the Royal Family.
do the script writers watch other soaps? as they each seem to all have the same story lines
whatever is in Emmerdale will turn up in Coronation Street and visa versa.. Sue Johnston turning
up means someones got to leave !!!! who will it be ????? JB
