Agree Jonpaul McIntyre; regarding the actress that plays Lucy Beale. This is more important than any Shirl/Ev thing. It is real and happening before us now. What is happening to Lucy and what is being done to help her anorexic frame. Lucy should be written out a.s.a.p. for her own good and be admitted to a clinic that may help. Lucy is setting the wrong example for youngsters. I hope she can recover for her own sake.
Same thing happened in Neighbours, years ago. The character Toadie, had a beautiful young wife. The viewer witnessed her waste away. Eventually she was scripted as dissappearing in the sea, presumably still able to return. She hasn't yet but interestingly, the writers have not yet married Toadie to his current partner! Wondering!

Linda Henry deserves a comedy award for her portrayal of grief for the loss of Heather. The whole character of "Shirley" has never fitted in, in any storyline whatever...........and Linda Henry has never been a good enough actress to make the role interesting.
A better storyline would have been for Shirley to be murdered, and not Heather.
Write her out while getting rid of the rest of the dross, and get a believable character in.

Fluffy, apart from having the audacity to speak out of etc. Sorry Lucy may lose her job! That's the priority is it???????????????????? You have the arrogance to assume that nobody knows about teenage eating fads???????????????????? This person was slim and now?????????????????? Dangerous and naively 'ostrich head in the sand' syndrome. So typical of these situations but you know what, i so hope you are right and i and many others are wrong for her sake. Lucy is a nice kid and needs to be reminded of that and how good she is as an actress. There will be more work in the future but life is more important.
