Personally, I don't want to know what it's all about. There are already too many trailers, too many announcers telling us what's going to happen.
Can you imagine reading an Agatha Christie novel, when the fly-sheet tells us "the butler did it"? Well, you wouldn't bother to read it, would you?
Just cut the trailers and let us watch the programmes without knowing in advance what's going to happen.

Thank you for the advice Steve Ash, I do appreciate that i can select what i want to read, i was simply commenting on the fact that a soap opera is being reported on at all. I'd like to add I have nothing against people that watch Eastenders or the programme in general, i just find it amusing that they have written and article to inform us what will happen in this imaginary world, which as far as i can tell isn't a particularly unexpected or unusual plot line.

Well said Hank, couldn't agree with you more. Why don't they just let us watch the programme and stop trying to entice us to watch in order to get their viewing figures up, if a programme is good enough people will watch. I can understand them announcing a new programme but there's no need to spoil the plots in established ones. Its REALLY annoying

To its millions of viewers Eastenders is real. When it is finished husbands and wives start throwing the crockery around as if they are in Walford. It is so painful to watch the brain releases endorphins to cope. The viewers are addicted like heroine addicts.

How is it odd to have a story about Eastenders in the Entertainment section of MSN? If you mean the MSN homepage, then surely you must have noticed that they cover ALL subsections there, which is why there are sometimes news headlines, sometimes sport headlines and sometimes headlines about other topics such as this. But, your claim that this story is in the news page is clearly untrue.
If you don't want to see topics such as this, then may I suggest you skip the homepage and direct your browser straight to the news section or something that interests you.
