The Only Way Is Essex cast, including Joey Essex and Sam Faiers, have landed in Marbella for their annual holiday.
EastEnders spoilers for week commencing 30 April
Ian is trying to help Lucy (Hetti Bywater) revise but when he finds out she skipped yesterday's revision to cover Mandy's shift in the café, he is fuming.
How much longer do we have to put up with Ben always with that stupid look on his face - for goodness sake
this story has gone on long enough - when you think of the frame being under his bed for those first few days, guess Shirley
doesn't change the bed very often!
Never thought i'd say this but .... I agree that Eastenders is really boring now.
It's like watching a programme from the 80's , so out of touch with the real world.
lol they live in a house free because it was Pat's, get a grip Eastenders this is not real life!, they
are just filling a void for a 'chavvy' character needed so the other 'residents' have someone to
look down on/take pity over.
In reality 'characters' like Bianca would be living in a grotty high rise on benefits as she has no
apparant skills.
please come up with something orginal and get rid of Mr Penguin man Derek Branning and his
facial expressions.
I keep watching Eastenders, more from habit than anything else nowadays. Sometimes they get it right and there is an interesting storyline but often they become boring and drag a story line on too long. Bianca has borrowed off the lone sharks and has got herself into a financial mess, nothing wrong with that one might say, it happens in real life, true. However why did she borrow off the lone sharks in the first place, if one is looking at real life with three children and a young adult to look after her social security cheque should be quite substantial plus she has cash in hand work (hobbling). When one takes this into account it is not very realistic. I know the writers are giving her a six month break but surly they could have come up with something better than turning her into a theif. Hopefully we will soon see Ben going out of the soap quickly followed by Derek the two worst characters in the programme, where did they get them from!!!? If anything will help me break the habit of Eastenders it will be Derek Branning.
Finally I wonder if anyone has noticed Jay, could he be anorexic? He is so thin and so pale and unhealthy looking surly someone should take him to the doctor's, at the moment he doesn't look fit enough to be acting on Eastenders.
I agree with Maureen, but as I only have a couple of brain cells, I have a very bad attention span, this programme is great, I can walk out of the room and come back five minutes later and know I won't have missed anthing.
Eastenders need to shape up their act. The storylines are a drag and only shows depression, deprivation, neigbours jumping from one neighbours bed to another. I have grown up looking at Eastenders from the very start when it began. The actors of yester years had grit and the storylines were gripping but these days, Eastenders has fallen from grace, we want to see stories we can relate to, the reality of being an Eastender, where are the black asian, irish, italian, Eastern Europeans, this is what we are surrounded by in the East End of London - so wake up and shake up the stories and characters. If not, the ratings will dwindle and then we will hear how this soap has been chopped from mainstream TV. I want to see Bianca make something of her life not drown into poverty, stop with the trash and put some sparkle into the characters, bring some new faces but make it visible to look at and have some fun. The Ben saga was sick, I was shocked that Heather (Hev) was killed, why did the storyline go the opposite way? It would of been nicer and appreciable if she did get married and lived a fulfilled life, once again doom and gloom. Yes, I do agree with addressing factual events, because there are people who are or have experienced something similar to what is shown on the soap, but there are the successful and meaningful tales that seems to be missing from Eastenders. It needs to clean the acts and get it flowing like how it was in the yester years. Come Eastenders - you can make the change.....
