The groom - First impressions of Sharon's jilted groom John (actor Jesse Birdsall) are that he's not to be messed with, like every other male newbie on EastEnders. He looks like a poor man's Nick Faldo (who in turn is a poor man's Harrison Ford) voiced by Boycie from Only Fools and Horses. Clearly a ladies' man, he boasted to Phil: "I could have had the pick of them. I wasn't short of offers." And yet he chose Sharon?

And the Eastenders carousel goes on. What's next - does it turn out that Den isn't dead after all and it was actually his twin brother who got killed. After all, there never seems to be a shortage of new faaaaamily members who turn up in the Square with a 'dark secret'.

Same old crap same old faces can they not manage real acting.
Also with the sort of crap the bbc show it is high time the tv licence was abolished in favour of adverts or pay to view and not by illegal government funding of a private company.

I don't mind her return but it's hardly original programming! Phils going to get with her behind Shirleys back and it's going to come out on the wedding day in the Vic. It's been done a million times. Nothing original!

So, she's back again then.. for how long this time I hear you ask.. and what will her next 'dramatic' exit be like, I wonder? Another sob in the back of a taxi, maybe? I can only assume the purse is running low for her to get another spell in The Square. Let's face it, Letitia is too typecast to get any acting work elsewhere. There's always TV ads I suppose..

All these grumps. Why? Plenty of other stuff to choose from. Surely you all don't absolutely love every other single tvv programme?. Perhaps you all belong to the "don't believe in it" brigade e'g, don't "believe " in tv. don't "believe" in dishwashers, don't "believe" in foreign holidays etc. Get the drift? Another club is " oh, i'm afraid that don't interest me". in the middle of a discusion about the pros and cons of a subject. Eastenders is long past it's sell by date . They keep churning out the sma old tosh year after year !! It is dead!! Then they try to bring back characters who are also past their sell by date, and non of it works. That's why they bring back these actors....because they aren't working either!!! Time to call it a day on Eastenders BBC.
In fact Albert Square should have been used in an Olympics story line, and that is that it all had to be knocked down to make way for the Olympic Stadium.

.l watch the soap and missed a lot because of the olympics .sharon is back because she needs to return to what she is familiar with she wants a slice of the action again be fair she was pretty good maybe it will lift the ratings who knows just have to wait and see

I'm not one for pointing out mistakes but I recall when she left she give the pub to Phil for free practically, and she obviously would of been well off enough to make a decision like that but all the sudden she is in the gutter :S

A bit odd to be writing an article reflecting on the episodes covering Sharon's return when the episodes haven't even been shown yet. She only said two words last night. Perhaps we could have a chance to watch them first, for this article to be relevant? Also, Sharon left in January 2006 and Denise joined after she had left, which is probably why Denise would not recognise her. Shoddy piece of journalism - the writer should do better research. And "cntributor" has two o's.
