Tracy was hoping to get abit of sympthoy from fans off coronation street but she loses it by blaming Becky for it they will probblay hater for lying to steve and that hope he see's sense and walks away but only sees the daughter. But in the real world Tracy barlow should still be locked up for murder and purjery for lying about gail when she was in jail making stuff up just to get out its disgusting when they want to make it abit realistic how can they when prisoners can come and go out of jail when they feel like it

Unfortunately, there are places where people do use their local pub as an extension of their front rooms and they do spend more than they can afford to. Never been able to understand the attraction myself but is happens.

well i know the stories can be a bit the same, but i watch corrie and eastenders and when i can emmerdale, but i find they can help to let me forget a few of the major problems that happen in my own family and with close friends. well not forget them, but just give me a bit of escapism , we dont all lead sad lives. and if i dont want to do that i get out and HAVE FUN!

Tracey knows this but cant help herself, tracey has always been the wicked witch of the street and always will be.
I do feel sorry for becky as everything has went downhill for her however she should not of tried to seduce steve as he is stuck in the middle of all of this, people are saying he should know better. but imagine yourself in his shoes if it was a realistic thing hmm ??

You seem to know an awful lot about the "crap" story lines for someone who doesn't watch these programmes. Please tell me how you know they are crap when you don't watch them.
We all know that these programmes do not reflect what happens in our daily lives, but the subject matter covers things that can and do happen everyday, but obviously not with such frequency in one street or village. All tv is fiction apart from the News and fiction is a way of helping people escape from the daily problems they face.
And as for calling people mongols for watching, this is a derogatory term up there with calling people retards and is in contradiction of the Disability Discrimination Act.
So I would suggest that you concentrate on watching what you do like to watch and leave others to enjoy their choice of viewing without labelling them, cos guess what! If you don't, then something is lacking in your life too.

There may be magazines on display everywhere, but surely you would have to pick them up and turn the pages to know what the story lines are. Unless you have x-ray eyes of course.
NO the covers of the magazines display the plots in banner headlines that even a half blind person would possibly have little difficulty in seeing.

Georgina, I appreciate your comments. However, at the time I was working with pensions and did not like people watching the programme ringing me up with "This is what was said in Corrie" comments, and thus wasting my time. True, certain groups of people can cash in their pensions but the character Deirdre did not fall into one. The reason I can remember Ken's equity release amount is that I had enquired about one myself.
Having said that, Merry Christmas to Everyone on here. I love a good debate.
