IT is time that the bbc lost the government funding in favour of advertising as they seem to like advertising their own crap programmes plus other advertisements as programme content.

How docile are people in the media! There is no critique of jubilee preparation whatsoever! I just came from Russia, there a major radio station openly criticising Putin and very good well-known journalists work for this station. It is called Ekho Moskvi. There are open debates on TV and the goverment can be criticised. Russia is blamed for being too controlling but there is much more freedom of speech there then in this country. I watch TV and listen to the radio regularly, there is no opposition or any criticism of jubilee preparations as a waste of public money whatsoever. MSN has a small survey on this site that shows that most people are not interested, why do these people have no voice? There is so much ideology and control in the media!
