When Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) tells Stella that she saw Sunita (Shobna Gulati) getting cosy with Karl, Stella loses her cool and kicks him out!

Yes, I agree, we have too much soaps, too much football, and not enough good old entertainment programmes.
i totally agree with this attitude also get rid of the reality shows trim down the amount of cookery shows property shows.
Also get rid of the tv licence.

Shobna Gulati ( Sunita ) is the very worst actress in any soap. The storyline of hers and Karl's affair is just not believable due to the bad acting.

I wrote to Points of View the other day to complain bitterly as to why the BBC insists on putting football on at peak times 4 days out of 7. We haven't even started on the Olympics yet !
I suggested that at peak times, they could use the closed channels like CBBC to show the flippin game, and leave the main channel alone for ordinary people to watch the normal programmes.
After all, we are in the digital age now, there are hundreds of channels to choose from to dedicate to sport 24 hrs a day !

I get frustrated of late with whatever goes on in Emmerdale goes on in Corrie and what goes on in Corrie goes on in Eastenders....do these writers all get together an plan this. Its time they all did something different.

I agree with Fiona McInnes Mary injects a lot of humour into Corrie. Oh, contrary to what some non-watchers of soaps are saying I know it's not real but it takes away the boredom of constant football, tennis and cricket that's bombarding our screens at the moment. Not everyone's cup of tea. Certainly not mine. Bring on the soaps. xx

You know what saddens me, soaps were great just a few years ago. Silly story lines on all soaps now, not that i don,t watch cos i do. Yes i'm sad i know but they are part of my upbringing. Why can't thw writers get it right though. How can barmaids/men afford designer gear, or for that market traders. Nothing is lifelike now. Kat out of enders looks like the worst slapper i've ever seen. disgusting wardrobe. Nothing fits right. Everyone in all the soaps are so free with sex, they go with anyone. It's a shame that nothings a story without it.

The cure ?? BBC and ITV, use your spare channels and dedicate them to sports and soaps.
It is because the programme makers and schedulers insist on slamming these wall to wall programmes on the main channels at peak times want to slap themselves on their backs for getting the highest audience figures !
Give all the wall to wall programmes their own dedicated channels, then everyone will be happy.
Come on everyone, write to the BBC and ITV and give them both your point of view !

I am a huge Corrrie fan...but the story lines are rubbish just now, ( Drugs, affairs, an unsuitable marriage, fighting over kids and crazy cop... Although all of these things happen the actors look as though they have given up. The only one that is entertaining is Mary :) There is no humor behind the bar any more, Steve come back.. and what the hell has happened to Eileen she is just miserable .

At last that stupid affair between Karl ans Sunita is out in the open. They were the worst couple ever to appear on the soap. So unreal She is so stuck-up while on the other hand he is not. They were just not a good match. Hope they get there just desserts. Please Dev take her back and stop her whinging. x
