I understand your comments about the Paul situation , but I have a friend who was in the same situation and it was a living nightmare for the whole family. I think Corrie has dealt with the storyline in a very accurate way, even though the sufferer has had a sad early ending . Alzheimers is such a cruel illness, especially when the sufferer is younger.
Imagine if your wife, husband, partner, with a potential to live for another 40 years, didn't even know who you or your children were. Try to 'bring them back' to your world and they ask who is that when looking at family photo's. I don't need to go on, i'm sure everyone understands.
So, all I wanted to say was, don't judge people for trying to still live their life, even if sadly their 'other half' can't.

Hiding drugs in the door panel of a car? What a brilliant idea! I don't suppose the drugs squad have seen anything like this before, have they? I'd be careful Tommy, these people weren't born yesterday, they're not called the Old Bill for nothing. If you're silly enough to think that their dogs only sniff coke for recreational purposes, then I'm afraid that you'll be in for a rude awakening. Doesn't this bring back memories of Vikram Desai who left the show 10 years ago? Vikram was a failed accountancy student who took an unhealthy interest in turf accountancy from the wrong side of the counter. Thus it was, that he accrued huge gambling debts and was forced to ferry drugs. He conned Steve McDonald and wife of the time Karen, into accepting a free holiday only to use them as drugs mules. When Steve discovered the drugs he went radge and ditched them in a river which left Vikram in very deep water indeed. On this occasion, cousin Dev Alahan decided to play the genie of the lamp and had Vikram spirited back to India. No; Not on a magic carpet - It was a big iron bird that spat flames and carbon emissions from it's posterior as it rose majestically skywards and off towards Guindi racecourse.

Can't understand why Nick would give that brain-dead parasite Eva the time of day! Carps about having to "gasp""!!!!!!!!!!!!! pay towards the expenses at home then wants to move in with him, (and doubtless expect him to pay all expenses)! 5 minutes after they start going out together and refusing to accept the fact he obviously dosen't consider the relationship at all serious! Kevin has to eventually face explaining to little Jack that his biological mother was a slag he had a fling with thus cheating on both their partners, (didn't he learn ANYTHING after his fling with that other slapper Natalie? Not that Sally is entirely innocent these 2 are starting to rival Ken and Deirdrie when it comes to extra-marital s**gging around), and I ALSO can't wait to see Sunita and Karl caught out!

I sincerely believe there are just 2 types of folks who regularly watch soaps,the first being the stressed,intelligent and highly educated professional,who will just sit down and relax and chill out and watch but not get too caught up in the plot or storylines,as,lets face it,theyre too smart to be taken in by it and are just watching to relax and forget their troubles.
However the other group are a sad bunch of individuals who,usually are housewives or if not,lazy unmotivated types,often single parents (fat one s at that!) who cannot read very well or have any interest in current affairs,politics or any other very important topics that really effects them,due to the fact that they are likely hovering around an IQ score of 70 (borderline moron)
The second bunch are the ones who will react with anger and distain if anyone trys to inform them of their basic cerebral and intellectual malfunctions.This actually makes up about 80% of ther British populus.Its all very very sad.

like kylie,used to love corrie but now the stories are all out of wack with this programme,lets get back to basics when we had a good mixture of drama and comedy,tape it now so i can whizzzzz through all the boring bits of which there are plenty,dev taking his kids on a golf outing,dont make me laugh

Why has Audrey got the worst hair on the street, she IS the hairdresser after all (tsut! tsut!) youd think someone would tsalk to her. Please Rita or Emily lend her one of those wigs. Its like a car sales manager driving around in an old rust bucket or a chef with his hands all covered in plasters. Make the cast a wee bit more credible. There are laxatives for Constipation Street.

Had hoped we had seen the last of her, storylines not good at the moment, need new scriptwriters. Need some scandal, like sunita and no brain carl getting caught. Not bothered if I watch or not now, Glad Terry has gone Tommy is such a prat.
