Michelle comforts a heartbroken Ryan while Steve (Simon Gregson) grovels. However, it's clear that it will take more than that to win her over, especially when he blames her for everything. Steve urges her and Ryan to see he had their best interest at heart, but Ryan can't believe he made such a laughing stock out of him and he flees.

Corrie has copied Neighbours. Not only is the story line identical, it is running currently and with a character of the same name. This sort of thing has happened before. I do not believe in coincidences.
Back injuries work really well because the character can continue to think and maintain dialogue, therefore interest.
To be fair, Neighbours has even used this scenario with previous characters; Paul Robinson, yonks ago and a year or 2 back, a Chinese girl at least that i can remember.
Is there a limit to workable soap story lines now that tv has been around for 60 or so years?
