The star of the hit TV series has died in Italy, aged 51.
Coronation Street spoilers for week commencing 21 July
What's happening on the cobbles this week? Find out in our gallery taking you through the next few days of Coronation Street.
It's a big week for Dev (Jimmi Harkishin), Sunita (Shobna Gulati), Karl (John Michie) and Stella (Michelle Collins) as a closely-guarded secret is blown open. Dev is unimpressed to find Sunita in the pub. He heads out to reopen the shop.
Get rid of the whole of the Alahan family, they're all a pain in the behind! - Dev's persistent stupid drawling 'noise' he makes
in an effort to converse is pathetic. Why Sunita ever came back I'll never know, and those horrible kids - get rid once and for all!!
- and take Ryan with them too - horrible character he is!! - I know, I know it's only a 'soap' but it's getting worse!! - bring back the
old 'Corrie' not this rubbish!
I told you Dev mate,I told you.
You should have dumped that slapper ages ago!!!!
She ain't worth killing yourself for. Now killing her.....possibly.
Jason, your as thick as Roys Gravy, but you do pull some fit ladies!
Maria is Bang Tidy, but will your mum babysit all the time?
Take care there Roy, going to a recital with Mary, it could be quite hazardous when she reaches her crescendo.
Viewers must be getting bored with the same "affairs" etc. You can tune in to any soap and find some-one having an affair with some-one elses partner. They always get found out eventually and the old cat fight breaks out, always with the females (of course). As for the refurbished Ryan, really can't stand him. Big mummies boy. He needs to try again at universaty.
Norris & Hayley are the ones doing the dancing but it's Karl & Sunita who have to face the music when Stella kicks up a song and dance on Monday. It seems that Karl has had quite a history of short term affairs with barmaids, so Sunita is nothing new.
If music be the food of love, then surely, it wouldn't come in the form of Elgar's Cello Concerto! That, though, doesn't seem to bother Mary, whose heartstrings are all a flutter, horns, strings and devils trombones." Roy had better be careful as she watches him with lustful eyes. Did Hayley say something about Latin American or Tango's this week? I was still trying to get my head around the idea of Norris' little short legs scurrying around the dance floor without the added hilarity of him wiggling his backside to a syncopated beat.
Ryan obviously figures that there's nothing like a bit crack with Kylie if you wish to deal cocaine. This doesn't cut much mustard with David, but then; it isn't mustard that they'll be cutting is it? It's "white lines." Never mind David, I'm sure they'll soon have you up to speed! The downer to all of this, is that, Sophie Webster becomes an addict.
Corrie may be praised for grasping an unsavoury nettle but most of us are tired of these story lines. When it comes to grasping nettles, the scriptwriters don't grasp them very firmly and let go at the first sting, meaning that many horrific but relevant story lines are not followed through. Izzie suffering a miscarriage next Friday is hardly compelling viewing. The viewers spoke for themselves last Friday 8.30, when the figures fell below six and a half million.
I reckon Sunita could take Stella in fight, she's a lean, mean fightin' machine while Stella's ALL mouth!!
Ha-ha Pratty!!! Once a ho, always a ho, you picked her and now she's fed up with playing the housewife.
I reckon she'll dump the kid on ya mam and do a runner.
Jason, the more I look the more I hate you. Maria is BANG TIDY.
Eva, will you run away with me, I'll book us in for 2 nights at a Premier Inn of your choice and bring extra tea-bags and a packet of Hob Knobs!!!! (They ever leave enough do they)
