Week two of the X Factor live shows had a love and heartbreak theme, but which performances did we love, and which ones just broke our heart? Find out in our Saturday night round-up...
All eyes were on Rylan this week after last Sunday night's results show. The Essex boy was saved over Carolynne after Louis chose to go to Deadlock. Gary stormed off and there were rumours of vote-rigging. It was a whole dramatic affair. Would Rylan be able to come back with a bang after dividing the judges - and the nation?
After teasing the crowd (and Gary) by starting off with Take That's Back For Good, Rylan went into a mash up of Deee-Lite's Groove Is In The Heart and Psy's Gangnam Style ("Rylan Style"). There were fashionista pandas and dancing Karl Lagerfelds; the whole performance was camper than a row of tents. And the rivalry between Rylan and Gary reached fever pitch, with a good-natured and banterful back and forth between the two.
Nicole, his mentor, said he was doing two things - "Li-ving," and Tulisa found him entertaining. Gary didn't like it, but to be honest, Rylan doesn't care and neither do we! He was one of our star acts of the night, pandas and all.

I have always watched the x factor and enjoyed it but \this year its rubbish, the singing and song choices are the worst ever, the audience are so noisy you cant hear what enyones saying, total let down for fans this year just a horrible noise. bring back Simon or finish it..

In my opinion Rylan Clark didn’t deserve to make it past the auditions. He is as camp as a preened peacock, with over the top performances that border on hideous in his desperation for fame. He is also off key. At best I can see a career for him on stage at Butlins. At worst, he could endorse spray tans for a living.

What planet are you on? I don't see much evidence on this forum of anyone thinking Rylan was a star act ! If he remains on the show after tonight's vote, surely there can be no doubt in anybodies mind that the show is a an absolute sham and an insult to everyone's intelligence. For goodness sake make this the last series & replace it with something more worthwhile.

Watched it for the first time last night and will never watch it again......what an absolute load of crap that Rylan was/is, cant sing,cant dance mind you he is exactly what this, I will not call it a show, farce is all about nothing but rating grabbing rubbish...

What a load of contrived rubbish. Who on earth thinks any of this rivalry and teasing is spontaneous. Its all done to try and make the Mum's across the road living their lives through these sorts of shows feel like the have some sort of ownership and to boost revenues via telephone voting.
