Its no wonder the ratings of X factor has fallen so much when the likes of Tulisa makes comments about James Arthur like "You've been to the depths in life, the deep, dark depths and you've come out. You're an inspirer."
His parents split when he was younger and he used to live in a bedsit, its hardly visiting the depths of despair is it? Like hundreds of thousands of others thats life and you deal with it. He has been given the privelage to show his talent.
Take the opportunity on merit alone not on fake bloody scenarios put out there by desperate browny point seeking celebrities.
The X factor judges are just like our MP's so out of touch with reality,
Jahmene is the real star this year.
All the very best for the future.
Amazing talent.
Thank heavens this years series is over, The only pity is that there will be another next year. Simon Cowell needs to give the whole concept a very serious makeover. By all means keep Gary and Nicole, but for heavens sake get rid of the childish Tulisa, and spare us the embarassment of watching Louis
making a complete fool of himself every programme. The quality of the programme has seriously deteriorated over the last three years, while its ratings competitor "Strictly" is more professional each year.
can't believe girlfriend dumping womanising james arthur won over better singer Jaheme i am sad, but i am confident jaheme will do better in the long run.
i cant believe this winner---people must be listening to something different to me------
Jaheme is 100 percent better---as time will tell
Jahmene and James were excellent and gave it there all. I wanted Jahmene to win but James deserved it just as much and was the right winner. It has been confirmed that James won it with 54% of the votes which was very close. Just shows that there is an extremely bright future for both Jahmene and James.
To those that say that James did not deserve to win are crazy. Both put out outstanding performances. Even tho i wanted Jahmene to win, James was a worthy winner. I am sure he will not be like some of the previous winners. He is a song writer too so he will have lots of great albums and has great passion for music so he will be very successful.
This was the best x factor i have seen because the right 2 singers were in the final. Also judge Nicole did an amazing job.Miles better than the other 8 years of x factor.
Also, alot of mature (old people) need to realise that music has changed. Stop critisizing and appreciate. Atleast they are doing somethng with their lives!
Oh dear.
The sixteen year old lass eclipsed the lot of 'em.
Ain't no justice.
And that's a fact.
The Looser always does better than the winner..... Jahmene is the WINNER...we will hear more from him than james, don't get me wrong James is a very good singer BUT for me Jahmene is the voice i want to hear.
The X factor is soooo predictable! It should be done away with after all this time and the public KNOW it's a fix from beginning to end. There are plenty of talented people who make it big on our screens or get recording deals without the aid of rigged programmes like X factor. You can count on one hand the number of X factor winners who have made it big time - the others have disappeared back into the clubs and pubs from whence they came! It's about time we had some decent Saturday night viewing instead of hours of predictable rubbish, loosely labelled a talent show. No doubt it will all be repeated next year - I wonder who the 'odd ball' will be next time, but whoever it is he or she will be kept in the programme to the detriment of others with real talent. Like I said.... it's so predictable.
Whilst it's very easy to argue that both boys fully deserved to win...in the end I think it was a combination of the voting public being ready for someone totally different to virtually anybody who has competed on the show before, and The X-Factor/ITV cunningly influencing viewers to vote precisely this way: when prompted to in subliminal fashion.
Depending upon whether you prefered to hear someone singing purely & truely like an angelic being, or someone wailing; moaning, and shouting as an interpretation of proper singing: with pure notes thrown in every now and again, then you either favoured Jahmene, or James.
If one was judging in terms of consistency of quality performing, and pretty decent singing throughout the entire competition, then choosing James as the Winner is a fair & logical answer.
If on the other hand one was judging in terms of the best singer, and best person, then the Winner surely had to be Jahmene.
After Ella he was my Winner....for what he has achieved on The X-Factor this year given where he started from has been a total REVELATION!!!
The thing that really gets me is the fact that according to the public voting results announced on The Xtra-Factor tonite, CHRISTOPHER MALONEY GOT MORE VOTES THAN ANYBODY for all but the last 3 weeks of the Live Finals! If this isn't an indication is as FIXED as anything, then I dunno what is???
How could he have received more votes than Jahmene; Ella, or James over such a long period of time???
The fact also that in the end James Arthur only won by a 4% margin shows just how crucial the show's portrayal of him, and Jahmene may have been throughout both the Final, and the Semi-Finals, in determining the eventual outcome?
The great thing is the show is now over...therefore James; Jahmene; Ella; Union J, or whoever, can hopefully be free to see whether not they can cut it as artists in the real world: especially in countries like America: where people will get a chance to evaluate them - free of most of the humongous hype; hysteria, and false characterization of them made either on the show here, or via our media.
Oh dear, another 2hrs of mind numbing meaningless monotonous drivel, and in that 2hrs we got just two songs from each of the contestants. If it is supposed to be a singing competition why do the special guests out number the competitors.
YOU ARE HAVING A LAUGH. THIS IS WHY WE STOPPED WATCHING THIS RUBBISH WAY BACK. PLEASE ANYBODY I KNOW, SAY THEY DID NOT VOTE FOR THIS GUY. SEE HOW I DID NOT SAY SINGER!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant dislike the X factor enough, every year a never ending supply of pointless covers, every year some muppet winning, every year i lose more and more faith in the British public.
