X Factor 2012 is getting personal. Things turned a bit ugly between judges Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos when the Take That star insulted her live on air. Although Gary later apologised for his rudeness on ITV2's The Xtra Factor, Tulisa's displeasure was there for all to see.
It all kicked off following Christopher Maloney's performance.
Tulisa criticised Gary for choosing yet another 1980s song for Chris - this time (I Just) Died in Your Arms by Cutting Crew. She said: "You do the same thing over and over again with him and it's not working."
Gary replied: "Tulisa, I don't know what's offended me more - what you said or the fag ash breath." You could see the shock on just about everyone's face. Did he really say that? Yes, he did.
Moments later, Tulisa interrupted host Dermot O'Leary and said: "Just a note for Gary - lay off the red wine because I can really smell that as well." Ouch.
Later on ITV2's The Xtra Factor, Gary was asked if he had been drinking red wine and he said he had "a little sip" in his dressing room and went on to apologise to his fellow judge.
He said: "Can I apologise to Tulisa - I mean it. You have the freedom to be as personal as you like to me for the rest of the series - insult me."
Tulisa's mannerisms suggest she won't forget that swipe of Gary's for quite a while to come.

Do we care what the judges feel about one another ? their comments are crap anyway, its all now down to them fighting amongst themselves bit like school kids in a play ground..... I have never ever seen so much rubbish in my life, this years X Factor has been rubbish from beging to the end... Even Dermot bless has been reduced to doing that stupid Dance at the start... BRING BACK the X in X factor....

I must admit, I was totally shocked by Gary's unprofessional, puerile response to Tulisa after her condescending, prolonged rant about his act, Chris. Never expected that of him ... but ... and there's is a big but ... but it was the climax of the evening. My mouth fell open, formed the perfect O. If that was staged for ratings, well I don't know, the look on her face was priceless. Took that gigantic ego of hers down a few notches. I used to like this woman when she was in N Dubz, thought she was lovely, cool, and thought she could sing, but since she's been on the Xfactor, I cannot stand her. Maybe the X-factor destroys people's reputation, persona. Look what's happening to Nicole. Is she losing her bloody mind?

Tulisa, if you joined in with the STOPTOBER crowd, then you wouldn't of been called, fag ash breath, trust me, I know where Barlow's coming from, I stopped smoking two years ago and when my daughter 22 year old, came near me, after she had a fag, she smelt like a pub ash tray and to think, that's what I used to smell like before I quit...that's bad.

Sorry Lucy Spraggon is ill, unfortunate for her but she should not have got a "bye", she really doesn't have a good voice, her talent is in being able to amuse, she puts me in mind of a less talented Pam Ayres. Struggled through and watched it tonight just to see what would happen with Christopher after Simon Cowell orders to get rid of him because he was too old. In the newspaper article reporting on this it also mentioned that Christopher had top votes two weeks running. Why do they have an over 28s section then? Christopher along with Jahmen have the best voices on the show. I also quite like Jade but she was not so good tonight, for the most part these judges keep choosing boring songs that do not show off the talent of the artists. Used to be a good show at one time. Like everything else though something gets a measure of success and the powers that be cannot stop changing things, frequently for the worse. This is a prime example, why does Simon think we need to see dolly birds judging. Louis has been in the business for years with a good measure of success why not leave it to the professionals, there must be a number more out there.

What can i say there is talent on the show,and there has been people that have should have got through who have not.... however i do not know how Tulisa has the experience to judge as i feel that she cant sing when i once heard her (sorry yr cool hun but you cant sing ) there are people on the show that have better talent than the judges. Out of all the jusdges there is only 3 that i think who have expeirience to judge and also it seems the show is now more PR move for the judges rather than concentrating on the contestants ( the show is all about the judges) there are 2 stars amongst the contestants and i hope they choose the rite ones.....i felt sorry for christopher when they seemed to insult him regarding the song that he sang... he has a better voice than most on there. I wish i was a judge on there for the public as i can see the talent there is on the show soooo lets hope that Gary who seems to know what he is talking about sees the true talent and not the fake.....sorry tulisa i dont think you should be a judge all you want is publicity sorry hun.

Good on Gary I am sick of Lady "T" as she thinks she is queen sitting up there. She is vindictive towards Gary and her comments to the contestants are mostly said without much thought at all. You know Lady "T" should realise that it's not what you say but the way you say it and unfortunately she has a poor way with words... guess it's her immaturity! So, Lady "T" if you can't say things to contestants in a constructive way then shut up..... Good on Gary - maybe Lady "T" needs help to give up her smoking and if you continue to maintain this awful habit your skin will not stay the way it is for much longer.
