The X Factor continues its hunt for the great singing star of tomorrow. Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh were joined by guest judges include Leona Lewis and Rita Ora at the London auditions, Mel B in Manchester and Anastacia in Glasgow.
One of the stories of the night came from an unlikely source. Hard to believe Bianca Gascoigne (yes, that Gascoigne) is only 25 – she seems to have been around forever.
Goodness knows what persuaded her to audition for X Factor. She said: “I’ve always been a singer, this is something that I’ve wanted to do; I just hope they don’t think I’m doing this as another show...” Maybe that’s precisely what they thought because her rendition of Mary J Blige’s I’m Going Down didn’t impress.
“In general it was a bit of a mediocre audition,” said Gary Barlow. Louis agreed: “It’s tough because we’ve got some amazing singers.” Tulisa added: I don’t think the vocals were strong enough for this competition.” And Rita Ora hammered in the final nail: “I think we’ve seen better singers.”
Very unfortunate for Bianca, in my opinion; worse singers have been put through to boot camp. But it's not every day you can unanimously say no to Bianca Gascoigne, is it? See how the other hopefuls did in this gallery.

Paul helped raise her but to use his name is a bit silly. The man in his time has been a legend and supremely great in what he did. Bianca and her mother however still love to use his name for any backdoor stardom whatever the cost. The female singers this year are sensational to say the least.

If she had been nursing her dying granny for the last ten years she would have flown through to the next round.
Most contestants can sing - it seems to me that the 'x' factor is how sad a background they have or perhaps how weird they are. The more sad they are the greater their 'x' rating. eg SuBo!

Why cant they all say ....NO..... who the hell is Bianca Gascoigne...!!! we all no who her dad is or was.. a fantastic footballer.... so what right has she got to expect being treated any different from a bin mans daughter from Stockport...... !!!.... one sad female...

i didnt think she was exceptional but a whole lot better than the old gent with the awful attitude that louis voted for he was appalling and so rude.

It was an appalling attack on a young girl on no other grounds that she was the daughter to Paul Gascoigne. Her singing was not that bad. Compared to some put through she was silver medal standard and could have improved with guidance.

Obvously she can't sing any better than her step dad. Remember his dreadful version of Fog On The Tyne? I didn't see the X Factor, I don't watch it any more, because a combination of Barlow & co and the terrible acts made watching it more that flesh and blood could stand, but I wonder if she reacted the same way her step dad did in the world cup back in 1990?

Having watched the (carefully Edited) show last night there was at least 3 very good singers on before her, and yes have, heard a lot worse, and which has already been said some have been put forward, but there are better singers out there.

Bianca only took Gazza's name because he was famous! She even called him her "Dad" on the show but he is her stepfather not her Dad. Don't think her mother and Gazza were together for that long. She is such a freeloader and I'm pleased she didn't get through on X Factor. She has been on more than one reality show.....Coach Trip for one and she struck me as being very spoiled and simply looking for fame. She's pretty but has no talent........shame!

I think that Ms Gascoigne thought that she would walk through the audition of X Factor because of who she thought she was. A footballers daughter ~ so what. She said she had always wanted to be a singer ~ well she had the opportunity to do this, with all the contacts she has made on all the TV shows that she has been on. Oh, and are all her family cry babies ~ her brother never stopped blubering.

Ms Gascoigne has had the opportunity to become a singer with all her contacts she has made with all the shows that she has been on. Shame she had to put herself through the X Factor, as I think she thought she would walk it because of who she thought she was ~ a no body really, who basks in her father's reflected glory.

X Factor is getting worse day by day, i have seen judges picking people for next round far far worse then Bianca, and Tulisa had to argue with the best judge Louis that one of the girl singer was a recording artist, and when Louis disagree, she din,t like it, what does Tulisa know about recording artist, and argue with somebody like Louis Walsh,all she is good enough is to show off her makeup and fancy dress, she is a joke when she says that she is the best judge on X Factor, at least Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh are two full time fair judges, and know what they talking about, in my opinion Bianca was better then the rubbish they have picked for the boot camp before, and still doing it.
