The X Factor is welcoming back former infamous hopefuls Jedward, Wagner, Kitty Brucknell and Rylan Clark.
The X Factor paid tribute to legendary record label Motown this week. The finalists also had to sing a song they believed would take them all the way to the Wembley final.
Gary Barlow once again caused a stir; he told Misha Bryan that comments about her behaviour, made by judges earlier in the series, have damaged her chances. "I don't think you can win this competition because of that, and that's a real shame," he stated.
Earlier in the evening, Misha B kicked off the show with her rendition of Motown classic Dancing In The Street by Martha and the Vandellas. Louis made a gaffe when he said: "If Berry Gordy was alive, he would absolutely sign you". Oh Louis! Mr Gordy, the founder of Motown Records, is alive!
Shock reality TV exits including X Factor's Frankie Cocozza
Talking about the judges, Hypocritical comes to mind as well as rude and ill mannered, Marcus I like but he did give one good performance and a very mediocre flat in parts second.
Barlow often says who cares what Walsh thinks? I can think of several bands that do as they are all wealthy down to him and have been successful, without doing a come back tour. So Take That GB.
Loved it last week when Louis phone went off and GB said "is that your phone" his answer was "yes its Simon" GB's face was a picture, best part of the Show for me
Amelia Lily and Little Mix in the top two tonight
For goodness sake, try to help the world and one another - skin colour has nothing to do with personality, politics, brains, or anything else ... except that it makes some unintelligent white people nasty.
Really respected Garry Barlow until 2 weeks ago but his comments last night were totally unnecessary especially as HE was the one who said a few weeks ago that detrimental things about contestants should stay behind and scenes and saturday nights should be about the singing. what a hypocrite. Overall, Misha B IS the best singer left in the competition and whatever happens will probably get a recording contract. In fact Gary was mean in his comments about all the acts in the second round of singing except his own artist who I have to say although very good in the first round definitely chose the wrong song in the second as all the other judges pointed out. Think he was playing a game of gamesmanship which has a nasty habit of backfireing with the public sometimes. By the way hear that as X factor has done so badly in the ratings this year, Simon is changing things next year.. Rumour is that Kelly Roland is swopping places with Nicole Shurzinger on the American X Factor and also, Dermot is rumoured to also be swopping places with Ex factor compare Steve Williams. For anyone who has watached the USA ex factor, if that is true, swopping Dermot particularly would be a disaster as Steve Williams is hopeless as a compare and is nowhere near the same quality as Dermot. It would lose the UK verson even more viewers.
