Tulisa to perform on Britain's Got Talent

PA
Tulisa Contostavlos will perform her debut single on Britain's Got Talent.
They say that it helps to have friends in high places, and people don't get much higher than Simon Cowell.
So, we reckon that X Factor star Tulisa Contostavlos is thrilled to be one of Simon's celebrity buddies, as she's now landed a prestigious guest stop performing on 29th April on Britain's Got Talent first live show.
The singer, who is in the process of launching a solo singing career following the split of N-Dubz, is set to sing her single Young.
What's more, it will be Tulisa's debut solo performance - talk about jumping in at the deep end!
Simon choosing Tulisa to sing on the show demonstrates the media mogul's support for the young singer, despite her recent sex-tape scandal.
The Sun reported that a source close to Simon Cowell told them: "Simon is a big fan of Tulisa and is excited to have her on the show. He wants her to hold her head high and put in a storming performance."

PA
Simon Cowell has supported Tulisa throughout the sex tape scandal.
Despite the recent stress surrounding her personal life, Tulisa has revealed that she can't wait to get on the Britain's Got Talent stage - she told The Sun:
"I'm very excited performing my single for the first time on Britain's Got Talent. It's a huge show, with a massive amount of viewers, for my first live solo music performance. Of course, Simon will be on the panel watching, so I'm performing in front of the X Factor boss too!"
Simon has already publically defended Tulisa throughout the sex tape scandal and has said:
"What she was doing was not illegal. You are allowed to do this stuff in your bedroom. You don't want the tape to come out, but it makes no difference with me about her coming back on The X Factor -100 per cent."
We can't wait to see Tulisa perform on the first live show!
