Vince bravely took on Elvis Presley's You Are Always On My Mind, bringing his own slant to it. "I wanted to do it as If that song was released today," said Vince.
"Vince produced that by himself. It's amazing. You're truly an artist," said Jessie J. "Elvis made that song his own. And you did that too," said Tom Jones.

Oh! How loud can you yell? Singing seems nowadays to be a matter of vocal volume and quirky distortions, rather than purity and emotional appeal. And for some who are pitifully effected, stop the over-emphasised waving of extremities. Thank God the adjustment of volume by microphone tromboning seems to be fading. At the end of the day, and despite 'reality' cop-outs, true talent will rise to the surface. Good luck to the singers.

I still like the voice, it may copy off x factor slighty, but the singers on the voice have more talent and the judges have more talent and experience. X factor and BGT are like a mouldy old cheeses that need to be thrown in the bin.

So, the offending headline reads 'Is this the new Joplin ?'. Just to clarify, one would assume this means the great Janis Joplin. Texan, bullied and abused misfit, spitting and spewing her lyrics from life experience, soul to the very core, emotion and pain running through her veins, coupled with a beautiful voice. Thats what made the Legend. Sorry, but no amount of money, publicity or sympathy card polititics will ever replicate that, especially not a TV program.

really dont like bo all my empathy for her mum but on a voice note i just cant stand it very boring and bland (sorry my opinoin were all allowed 1) love tyler james and vince! was dissapointed with the show tonight actually :/

I though Vince Kidd was the best tonight. Just love his look and his voice and the way he puts his own spin on songs, think he's a really unique and fresh artist. Loved Aleks too - what a cutie - reminds me of a young Marlon Brando... ;-) and his voice was faultless this week. Beautiful. Think Becky could win it though, she just a has a raw talent that stands out. Thought Casius and Ruth-Ann were awful - just totally out of tune...

Emily Underwood you are obviously under the age of 15 and have no concept of what real music is about. Bo sang that song because it meant something to her, she sang every lyric oozing with emotion and power because she could deeply relate to the lyrics. Music isn't about cheering yourself up and flipping your hair about whilst putting on a fake smile. It's an expression of the artists emotion and conveys their feelings at a certain point in time- excuse most of 'chart' hits which are good for a dance but not the art form of Music. So if an artist was happy and in love or just high on life, yes sing about that, but when someone like Bo who had something intense and sad on her mind, please don't make her flip her hair and put on a fake smile.

Great show full of energy, Toni fab voice but thinks she would be better wearing some funky headwear its quite daunting and off putting all that shine, last act good but lets not keep having sympathy acts we all have our life dramas, think Tom Jones is the most realistic judge and mentor wow all those years of fame and singing and no scandals go for it sexy bod

Emily underwood and Zoya Hassan- you have missed the point of the show, it's called THE VOICE because it is meant to be all about the VOICE! Wearing a wig will not make a teensy bit of difference to how she sings.
