Sam Buttery and Sophie Griffin were the first artists to be voted off The Voice UK, leaving just eight contestants on the BBC's talent show. Both Will I Am and Tom Jones now only have four contestants each.
Opening the results show, Danny and Jessie J's contestants sang a medley of Rihanna's SOS and the New Radicals, Get What You Give.
Three contestants out of each group were saved by the public vote, therefore leaving two out of each group in danger of leaving the competition.
Described as one of the hottest artists in the world by presenter Holly Willoughby, Lana Del Rey then performed a hypnotic version of Blue Jeans.

The worst 2 got voted off - neither of them could sing in tune. Shameful that the judges couldn't be honest and tell them that they were rubbish. Even after being voted off, the judges were still singing their praises. Lana Del Rey should have been chucked off with them - she was rubbish and out of tune too! Matt and Sueleen absolutely murdered a fantastic Fleetwood Mac song - they will be off soon I hope. Come on Leanne - what a singer - what a woman!

Was Lana Del Rey amazing? I didnt think so. As for the other actual contestants the only person worth watching right to the finishing line is 'JAZZ'. Simple! super star in the making and Will.I.Am cant wait to get his hands on him.

To be fair ...the first time I heard Lana Del Rey sing, I thought it was a bad joke!
Yesterday she was just a joke!
Who gave this passionless woman a record deal and a mike?
Worse still ... who lied to her and told her she could sing?

Sorry I think the whole thing is rubbish. Nobody is able to sing a straight song they have
to shout or hold notes far to long, its not singing, but I am 69 so maybe a bit out of date.
( Am a long time fan of Meatloaf, now thats how its done)

Is there a technical issue between what we hear at home and what's going on in the studio?
Because Lana Del Ray sounded awful to me... so did the judges. Tom was great.

The judges on The Voice would do well to take lessons from B.G.T judges, be honest with the contestants, when they are rubbish tell them, which most of them are so far, no good singing their praises when you know full well they are rubbish, you are not doing them any favours.

Lana looked out of sorts and not very comfortable.performing on tele. She was out of her comfort zone and not used to performing to a tv audience. In an ordinary concert performing live she would be a goddess in her own element. The Voice was good at the start but i can see it sliding down on a downward slope. Lets face it we all know who the winner is. I will give you a clue. He is managed by Will i am and has a soul voice. Was'nt that hard then was it? You can stop watching now.....Not exactly Rocket Science is it?

Matt Davis. Thanks for the complement! Its not unusual for folks to tell me that I look like Tom - I''ve been used to it all my life. I look even more like him now as I have a beard like him. I went to the London Arena to see Tom perform, and folks kept stopping to say how much I looked like him. Wish I had his money!!!
