I am a great fan of the voice; however, there was some bad decisions made on the night!
How anyone can claim this show is about THE VOICE, and not what the contestants look like is beyond me.
The simple fact that all the contestants standing in fron of the judges in the last round were all of the image that a pop star should look like, made the whole point of the show POINTLESS.
Then in the elimination round, having the young singers going up nagainst the older singers, and the slim ones upo against the slightly bigger ones, and the boyband looking guy competing with the spotty ones, made a mockery of THE VOICE.
Just based on looks out of the 20 that went through I predicted 13 of them would go through over the other. The other 7 were very tight contests which could've gone either way, but for me to predict 13 out of 20 just based on their looks, proves that the show is more about looks than they wish to admit..
As for the critique from all the judges, it was nothing more than patronising, "You were great, I wish you luck in the future" to the contestants they eliminated, just be truthful tell them they don't LOOK RIGHT, at least then they know where they stand.
Thing is about being able to see them perform in the battles is that they have to now. They have seen them, heard their quality of singing so it can't really be blind anymore now can it because they have seen every contestant and you now know what they look like.
I'm just glad that everyone can actually sing and nobody rubbish has got through unlike the X factor so I have to say it is about The Voice because these all have it. The Voice is just great!
Jaz and Ruth are definitely my favourites.
I don't like Becky or Max with their cocky attitude and I hope neither of them win The Voice.
Unfortunately there were a few dodgy, ageist decisions made by the coaches. Some of the older singers were clearly much better than the younger contestants they were up against. But of course the younger ones were chosen to go through to the live shows.
Anyway, JAZ TO WIN!! He's fab with a lovely velvety smooth voice.
audiance.
It might be interesting to hear the singers sing songs from different years insted of the present pop rubbish. JUST A SUGGESTION.
i think the voice is the best :)
you have a fantastic talent and energy when you sing well done x
Kirsten should have gone through rather than Toni, all i can say is Jessie took pity on her. Had she known that Toni was on opportunity knocks many years ago, I think she'd have put Kirsten through?
To be honest I've gone off it because there were several wrong decisions!! I now think it should be a public vote sytem!!
Jazz in my eye,s and ears you have won already, wondering what you are going to sing this week?
whatever you sing it will be no doute brilliant....![]()
