She may have been nervous, but Cheryl Cole dived head-first into her performance on The Voice - literally.
The singer smouldered on stage in a tropical outfit and put everything into her performance of her new single Call My Name.
Cheryl almost stole the show from the semi-finalists, who all performed before her. And with four artists going home tomorrow (one from each team!) the atmosphere on the show was tense.

Personally I thought she bought the show to an even lower status than it is in my oipinion. What gave her the right to have her performance pre-recorded along with Auto-Tuning, because it was clear again, that she was miming.
It's all about The Voice, they say, then they have her on the show, showing that actually it's all about THE LOOK.

So she danced about a bit and moved her lips along to a record which some other people made in a studio. It's all an act, a pretense... millions of girls do that with hair brushes, except they actually sing along.
They turn her mic off until it's time to talk cos she can't sing that well standing still never mind skipping about like it's a music video. save this miming lark for music videos not stages!! I used to like Cheryl but she's an industry fake now. She's all about products and advertising. There's 2 sides to her music, there's radio and CD, then there's miming and dancing to promote CD and it's bull cr@p. Artists with integrity don't do a dance show and mime, they actually sing and play to the audience. If the voice is about the voice, and a show where people fooking sing why aint she singing? Stick to marketing make-up love, and looking pretty in the adverts... your music's empty and not "worth it"

of course she mimed, she always does, and I think it is an insult to all the contestants in that they have to sing live and for up and coming artists earning no money who are hoping to make a career for themselves can only dream of the kind of money Cheryl earns and she carnt sing.
It is only her name CHERYL COLE that gets her anywhere , if i had her money behind me, stylists and makeup people at my beck and call, no shopping, washing, cooking, making beds and running a home working 4 10hr shifts on and 4 off, and more on than off i think i could compete with her ( I dream)
YES SHE WAS MIMING thats why you dont get the close ups of her singing, and I wont be rushing to download her record !!!

Shame Cheryl Cole bitter haters didn't die of shock when she dared to dive off stage too!
A singer with talent and who can sing doesn't rely on gimmicks. It's not about being a Cheryl Cole hater, it's about having her pushed in our faces by MSN all the time as though she really is a diva. She can't sing and relies on miming. You don't see female singers with REAL talent like Celine Dion, Barabra Stresiand or even Susan Boyle diving about all over the stage. Cheryl Cole is a publicity freak and one who goes all out to grab any headline. That about sums it up for someone who's a wannabe.

She can't sing, she has no musical talent and she is representative of all that is wrong with the music industry today. She should stick to advertisements ,giving interviews and doing photo-shoots for teen magazines but she is not and never will be a musician.

Everyone keeps saying to give her a break because it would have been impossible for her to sing and dance the way she did, but what we have to remember is that, she's meant to be a singer not a dancer. If she wants to do all the dancing she does, then, she's in the wrong career.

Yes, I'm afraid she did mime. The troupe of dancers,the size of a soccer team, were there as a distraction for her vocal performance. I lost count of the number of times she was masked by the dance routine. The only part she sang live was the 'woa woa' lyric right at the end of the song,because there was a distinct change in the sound level.Also I noticed that the rest of the track was identical to the record release right down to the vocal.

For a show that claims to find 'raw talent', it's ironic that they would allow someone to mime. It defeats the point of the show, after all would they allow someone to turn up and say 'i didn't feel like singing today, but i made a recording earlier, can you just play that and i will pretend i'm singing'. You would think Ms Cole would have learned her lesson to sing live. The public are wise to it now because the X-Factor.

It's all fake. If I went to watch an Opera and they mimed I'd want my cash back. While there are some great pop artists, many are second rate. Yes, Britain has talent but its seconded to Cowell-pop and premised on ratings, sex appeal, notoriety and packaging. Rasp Cole's face with a cheese grater and her lack of talent will suddenly become apparent.

Cheryl cant sing. Its quite funny when Contestants on an average singing contest are better than her.
