It's time to say hello to the latest group of business-minded, often egotistical, people who will engage in a fierce battle to win over Lord Alan Sugar in The Apprentice.
The 16 contestants will be competing to win a hefty investment, and we can't wait to see them in action on the show. In fact, we're secretly hoping for another Stuart Baggs, who made us chuckle with his absurd arrogance.
So without further ado, let's meet the business boffins who are set to face to wrath of Lord Sugar. Yikes - rather them than us!

Dear all people whining about how the program has become too dramatic, with more and more whacky contestants and irrelivant challenges. Please, remember that it's a just TV program, it's aim being to get people to watch it. People, such as me, like to see people making fools out of themselves by making ridiculous claims about their overfed ego's and fighting with eachother over who sold the most. It's entertaining. Enjoy it. :)

I enjoy watching the apprentice, it is so real as the competition shows how everybody has a different way of tackling the assignments,and always has a good mix of candidates to begin with.Patricia

I absolutely love the apprentice and I just wish those sad people on this forum will stop saying negative things about it in any respect at all.

Looks like the same type of wannabes who appeared on last years show, and the show before that etc... most of these people don't want a job with Alan Sugar, they will use this show as a stepping stone to something else. :/

cant wait , as a trader myself excellent programme probably the best programme in bbc has came up with, any body says they don't like it, they are two face liars, truth is they are jealous calling these smart candidate all kinds of name, shame on them, i bet they would fail on their application form, besides these programme will give ideas to new people or school leavers who want to work for them selves

I love the way that these hopefuls think that they are so "gifted at business" - if you're so gifted at it then get on with running your own business. Hold on a minute, very few of you even have one. Those who do claim to be magnates or tycoons in their fields will be exposed over the course of the show to be little more than bull-hitters.
This series will pan out as every other series has done, the same old tasks leading to the same old mistakes, same mundane comments from Alan Sugar being dressed up as some god given wisdom when they are little more than common sense. The boardroom will unquestionably be full of the same energy zapping time to put the kettle on arguments where no one ever admits that they are wrong despite the fact that they are in fact as big a jobbie as the BBC will succeed in making them look like.
Only a country where the majority of the population drag out their years in service sector employment could this pass as entertainment.
And one more thing...if Sugar does not like a-selickers why does he so gladly suffer the company of Nick Hewer and Karen Brady?

Sorry my language offended you but I used the word "a-selickers" simply because thats what Sugar actually said. You would have found this quote had you actually read the captions that went with the MSN presentation. If I remember correctly, its on the last slide, but i'll leave you to find it and perhaps, in the process, you will find out what a load of nobbers these guys actually are.
PS - im not sorry you're clearly a bigger idiot than the candidate from Glasgow who wants to be Scotlands biggest export. Good luck being bigger than North Sea Oil.
