School shootings are examined in a new run of films on PBS, starting with how a former Secret Service psychologist stopped 120 attacks.
Natasha Kaplinsky
Who'd have thought that a newsreader would have such good rhythm? Natasha Kaplinsky won over viewers on the first series of Strictly Come Dancing and waltzed away with the winner's trophy. Natasha is no stranger to being in front of the cameras, so she'd be right at home on the Strictly judging panel.

First and formost we need someone who knows and understands dancing and has probably been involved in it for some years . Just because you have been a competitor in Strictly certainly does NOT make you suitable .
Many of the people mentioned in this article are only here because they look glamorous or are in some other branch of showbusiness .
Karen Hardy would however be an excellent choice . Not only is she a professional dancer , but she has shown herself to have a very good TV manner and a bubbly personality throughout the last very successful series when she explained so clearly what viewers needed to look for in the various performances .
Bring back Arlene Phillips. She is a dancer and choreographer so knows what she is talking about. If not then bring on a professional dancer or choreographer and not another amateur singer/dancer
Alesha's gone......."Good Job!"
Why replace Arleen, a highly experienced choreographer on a peek-time talent show, with someone who was so clearly out of her depth, even Captain Nemo wouldn't hire her? Just to take the teeny-bopper viewers away from watching The World According to Simon Cowell on the other channel of course. As a previous winner she was able to empathise with the contestants, but that doesnt make her a judge.
For three series her feckless oppinions and reckless scoring of performances was patronising to both celeb and professional dancers, embrassing to the other judges and so annoying to watch,I regularly balked on my sweet and sour! And to think that people crave her approval? Shame on you, Auntie!
Cheryl Cole on Strictly? Oh please give me a break!....
Good looking she may well be but as for her manner and tone of voice, lets be honest, it make's watching gloss paint dry seem like an adrenaline sport, daaarling! Somehow I doubt that she could complete against the likes of Karen Hardy et al as a judge either.
I just hope now that the Beeb decides to go for an experience voice as it doesn't need another "celebrity".
It should be arlene because she should not left in 1st place but i wouldn't
blame her if she said NO!. I did n't think Alesha dixon was comfortable in strictly she was too nice to the contestants. Maybe rachel stevens or karen hardy would be ideal.
