Rosemary Conley has reached the end of the line on this year's Dancing On Ice, having, by her own admission, reached a point where she had no more to give.
Facing Chemmy and Sean in the skate-off, Rosemary and partner Mark Henretty once against danced to I'll Stand by You by The Pretenders, but it wasn't enough to beat the judges' unanimous decision.
Rosemary paid tribute to dance partner Mark, calling him "one of the nicest people I've ever known".

She mostly stood and was pushed around the ice or just smiled as her partner lifted her. I like Rosemary but she is no skater.

That is a very unkind comment June. You, too, will be a 'pensioner' one day. I am 64 and last year I took my grandchildren ice skating. Having skated as a teenager but only once (in my 40s) since then, I was dubious. But I strapped on the skates and went for it. I did not fall over at all and held my own amongst all the young mums and children.
So I say well done to Rosemary, good on you, and to all the other 'past-it-and-not-worthy-of-our-attention-pensioners' out there I say - give anything a try, keep active and healthy and take no notice of those mocking youngsters - they too will reach their 60s eventually.

I watched this with my daughter and couldn't believe no one noticed (we did) that the poor woman was bleeding.- Well done for carrying on to the end - you deserve to stay in -

I love Dancing on Ice, well the actual ' Doi ' ....we mute the sound when all the rubbish chat is on.
I think I have a problem though .... because I fancy the pants off Sean Rice LOL.
Why?
Because compared to the other professional male skaters, he's not slim ( well, actually he has quite a belly hehe ) , he doesn't have a cutey boy hairstyle ( he's bald ) or rippling muscles ( although he is very strong) and when he's skating and lifting Chemmy in the air
I wish it was me .
Oh well, I can dream, as he's married to Jodeyne who is a lovely woman and great skater .

I'm a pensioner too and totally agree with June Wiltshire.
Rosemary wasn't skating, she was being pulled and pushed around the ice by her partner.
She should have been voted off weeks ago as she had no hope of progressing while some of the others voted off did.
I've seen many older people skating now we have the open air skating during the Christmas season. But to be honest they all look in danger of ending up in A&E with fractures. In fact i've seen that happen a couple of times. None of us like getting older but we have to accept we can't/shouldn't be doing the things we could when we were younger: Especially not on TV !!!

Heather, I am already a pensioner 68yrs old, I am not being unkind just realistic! good on you for going skating but would you do it on national television? I think not.

Lucky to have lasted this long, why do these pensioners keep on making fools of themsleves, I thought Rosemary really looked her age last night!
