A host of talented acts performed for the judges at the first of the Britain's Got Talent live semi-finals.But no-one could beat winners Ashleigh and her cute dog Pudsey!
"This is what this show is all about. I loved it. And I loved you," said dog lover Simon Cowell following the amazing dance act from the human-canine combo. "I think you can win!" said David Walliams. "I didn't think you could top the audition but you did," said Alesha Dixon.
Pretty good comments then! "I spend all my time with Pudsey," said Ashleigh. "I wouldn't change it for the world!" She was a clear winner in the public vote. She'll be in the BGT final.

Totally brilliant....Unique in every way, I hope she wins and get to perform in front of the Queen,
she will love it. Let it be something different this year. BGT is a great platform for the other contestants and a majority of them will go on to further their career in what they do.
Let's all vote for Ashleigh and Pudsey and get them both to the Royal Variety Show.

amazing partnership.... Most of the credit must go to ashleigh though... seriously confident child.
Her parents and family must be proud of her for what she's done.
She must be a true insperation to anyone her age and surely she must have a career on the strength of her hard work at such a tender age... Good luck kiddo. you are special. and love the dog as well.

What a wonderful dog, Ashleigh and Pudsey are brilliant. Ashleigh has trained her dog really well and you can see how much the dog loves her. I hope they win Britains got Talent as I am sure the Queen would love them.

So pleased Pudsey and Ashleigh made it through to the final - would love them to win the whole show, get fed up with the
usual street dancers, and singers, let's have something different for a change!
How the heck did that lunatic with a saucepan on his head get voted through on Saturday night - I sometimes wonder what the
judges think us public would want to see?

I never thought I would like David Walliams as a judge,BUT,he is really brilliant at the job as well as bringing a touch of laughter .He is what has been needed ion this type of show.A real human quality and genuine judging.No crap but truth.Well done and hope we see more of him

Wow and WOW Ashleigh and Pudsey are magnificent, I really want them to win and would be surprised if they don't. I think the Flintstones dance was better, but never the less WOW. I have no doubt they have a carer ahead whether they win or not, a talent scout will snap up this amazing act. Singers and dancers are a big YAWN, its not like it hasn’t been done before and they really have to have something to stand out from the drudgery of saturation in these genres. Ashleigh has trained Pudsey so well and he is a heart winner. So great to see that a true variety act is still possible to win over the audience, more power to them.

How on earth did Tulisa ever get to number one with that rubbish, Oh and yet another one that CAN'T sing live was painful to listen!!!
On a brighter note the best two acts went through!!

if ashley and pudsey dont make it all the way through theyve both certainly got a career in training other dogs to do the same heck they could even train dogs that are in films and adverts you go guys love you xx
