Was it just me or did anyone notice the same negative vibes before they sang from Audience and Simon, brings back memories from when Susan Boyle stepped on stage, it amazes me that people still judge others by they way they look and what they say.

i hope the reaction of the crowd helps jonathan with his confidence he has a very good voice he just need to believe in his talent as for the su bo comments most opera singer carry wieght

I thought Simon would have learnt a lesson about NOT judging a book by it's cover when he came across Susan Boyle, but again this year and on the first show he says to Amanda, as Jon & Charlotte walked on "just when you thought it couldn't get any worse"

That ignorant tw*t Cowell should be ashamed for the comment he made as Jonathan and Charlotte walked on stage. They were absolutely fantastic! It's still early days but they will definitely make the final.
I REALLY hope the judges don't put any crap acts through to the live semi-final shows at the expense of good ones. I hate it when they do.

They were fantastic! Both of them (Simon!), but please don't start this male Su-Bo thing just coz he's carrying an extra few pounds so F****** what!? The guy has been bullied all his life about his weight and he has a huge talent, so please stop with the Su-Bo thing! Anyway are opera singers have got to be a bit on the tubby size it's the law! Stop being horrible peeps it doesnt become you.

FACT. Jonathan and Charlotte were the only decent act on the show last night and that piece of trash Cowell was slagging them off as soon as they got on the stage.

oh my god she is fab,but he is wow i have no words.We all know he is soooooo overweight its heartbreaking(hes 17teen bless him) but we all know such a natural talent should not be ignored because of how someone looks. Fame and fortune have its benefits and with this i hope he gets the help he needs to have a long and happy life.I have an overweight child and everyday is a heartbreaking .We as adults have to educate kids more about verbal abuse and how it can affect others we need to let them know ,you dont have to be physical to be a bully.The pain you get from words lasts a lot longer. SO I SAY GOOD ON HIM FOR GETTING ON THAT STAGE IT WOULD OF BEEN OUR LOSS IF THE BULLIES HAD WON

Hi what a fantastic pair of young singers and like the young lady has stood by her friend thick and thin because he most have been bullied terrible because of his size.
Never mind Mr. Simon Cowell giving his five pence worth a person with no talent one of the parasites of the world who feeds off other people.
Good on the young man for saying that he and his friend went in as a due and they will stay this way I hope they do and this will show the bullies of this world and our government what true friendship is all about.

Two acts blew me away last night, the first being the young 19 year old Sam Kelly, then of course the beautiful voices of Jonathan and Charlotte. I think that Jonathan is amazing but he is so very nervous I think he does need Charlotte for the immediate future and she has a delightful voice so why not. Jonathan must remember that his voice is his talent and his size doesnt come into it, with a little gentle coaxing to get his confidence in himself back, I am sure he will go far. The last time I heard a voice like his was the first time I heard a nervous Andrea Bocelli, now look where he got to - he is the best there is. Give it your all Jonathan and you too Charlotte because you would have got through in your own right too, you are both absolutely terrific.

They were magnificent - I don't remember ever hearing a young man sing with such a beautiful voice a wonderful talent. Charlotte is so lovely too giving him confidence. I wish them both all the luck in the world - they deserve to go far. Brought tears to my eyes as did the Welsh boys choir. Brilliant!

Simon Cowell is a disgrace, leaning across to Carmen Electra and stating "just when you think things can't get anymore weird", when Jonathan and Charlotte arrived on stage and asking them "does the combination work?" in an extremely sarcastic tone. Does he think he is the picture of perfection? Sad thing is Simon Cowell will just continue to increase his wealth rather than suffer from any of his prejudgemental comments - awful man!

I knew Jonathan was going to be good as soon as I saw his T-Shirt, anyone who admires the greatest artist of all time has to have some passion for creating good music, and complete determination to become a great musician, he will go far for sure.

No i don't agree with simon they should stay together charlotte the one that gives him the confidence to do what he did last night with out her he would fall to pieces and i don't agree that she would hold him back either they are both as good as one another I enjoyed every minute it was like watching subo all over again the audience looking down there noses at him im glad he shut them up including simon what was it he said when they walked on? hear we go again! same as charlotte said and i agree with every word she said you done judge a book by its cover! and here's another one simon it takes all sorts to make a world and it's down to them that's put him were he is today just think on simon cowell WELL DONE TO YOU BOTH

i envy anyone with such a talent, i hope they get a long way, not only in the competition but also the future, if they stay together or seperate they both have a good chance to get on in music, but at the moment they need each other, gave me goose bumps when i heard them, well done.
