Big Brother 10's Sophia Brown dies, aged 30
Big Brother housemate Sophia Brown has died at the age of 30. The news was broken by one of her fellow contestants.

Big Brother 10's Sophia Brown has died
Big Brother 10's Sophia Brown has passed away at the age of 30. When she signed on for the reality show, the 4ft 11ins Londoner worked as a banking assistant.
She was the first official housemate evicted from the 2009 series of Big Brother. News of her death broke on Twitter and Facebook; Davina McCall paid tribute with this tweet: "That's really sad. My thoughts are with her family."
There is no word as to the cause of death, but Sophia had suffered from Lupus since she was very young.
During Big Brother 10, Sophia was still living at home with her parents who described her as "hilarious".
At school, her proudest achievement was gaining an A* in GCSE English. When she was younger, she wanted to be a lawyer, but changed her mind.
Sophia listed her worst habits as randomly breaking into song, farting all the time and talking to herself. Her greatest attributes, she said, was being "fun, fierce and feisty."
Model Karly Ashworth, a fellow housemate, also took to social networking site Twitter to post a message: #RIP to Sophia Brown who was also on my series of Big Brother. Such sad news. My thoughts are with her family and friends. X
Big Brother 10 winner Sophie Reade wrote: "Devastated to hear the news about sophia, such an amazing lady and a pleasure to known her. Cant believe it #RIP"
And Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley added: "Such very sad news about BB 10 housemate Sophia Brown - god bless Sophia xx"

It amazes me how sick this society is we live in,How can some people be so horid and still look at themselves in the mirror each morning,its not funny its not clever being disrespectful about people dieing whether there old or young,I foster a little boy who has liver damage spleen damaged and part of his bowel removed and he's only four,so if one of you gutless physco's would like to comment leave your number name and address then we'll see who is the braver,

Comments being made by many of the contributors here just re emphasise to normal people in society today what a cess pool this country is. The death of anyone so young is a very sad event, no matter what their colour, creed, social standing or circumstances of the passing. May this young lady rest in peace and sympathies and prayers to her family and friends.

My partner of 18 years has been in Critical Care with a condition similar to this for the last 2 months, 38 years old and the nicest girl you could ever meet.
If it came to the worst, as it has with this young girl, it would have a devastating effect on family and friends.
My heart goes out to all those of you in this situation.
And I would not wish this to the worst of my enemies.

a very sad story, i suffer from lupus and have done for 6 years. unless you know someone who has the illness, don't be so quick with the nasty, hurtful comments. to all the ignorant people who know nothing about lupus, i suggest you use the internet and read about it. best wishes to her family x

Having read some posts i feel that many folk are racsist. Some simple posts of R I P! have been met with over ten thumbs down. WHY? ARE YOU HEARTLESS C*NTS? Yes! they are! F*cking members of the BNP no doubt! It does not matter what race you are from, when someone, so young dies, it is terrible for their family, friends and people they knew.

My thoughts are with family and friends of Sophia Brown BB10 contestant may she rest in peace.
For all you insensitive people none of you have a caring bone in your body and one day you will know how it feels to lose someone close and other people being disrespectectful to you and your loss.
It doesn't matter your colour or your faith we are all human and worship the same god so why can we not be compassionate for the loss of a fellow human being at such a young age.
Rest in peace you are now free of pain and I know your family although they are hurting just now for their loss but they are relieved you are no longer suffering.

Why are some individuals so sick and feel the need to write sick messages about a person they don't know anything about? Why are they are so full of hatred that they cannot respect the dead?. Seems to me that these are types of people that go on to crime or commit suicide, many are obviously in need counselling!
