Westwick: I want to steal Blake!

Ed Westwick has joked he wants to "steal" his co-star Blake Lively as a memento from the Gossip Girl set.

The 25-year-old actor, who plays Chuck Bass in the hit US series, made the quip as he was asked what he would like to take away when the show comes to an end.

"Blake Lively. Do you even have to ask why?" he told Us Weekly magazine.

Ed - who will miss the make-up room and "the best damn crew ever!!!" - also admitted that he has been kept in the dark over the show's finale, which will air on US screens in December.

There is speculation that Chuck could be marrying Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester) after the pair were seen filming a wedding ceremony scene in New York's Central Park, but it is not known if the wedding is real or a dream sequence.

"I still don't know where it ends. Buckle up!" added the actor.

The hit show, which started in 2007 and is currently in its sixth season, has turned Ed, Blake, Leighton, Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen into huge stars.
