Denise Welch has claimed she was "given the Osama Bin Laden treatment" after splitting up with her husband Tim Healy.
The Loose Woman star and Celebrity Big Brother winner ended her 24 year marriage to actor Tim after a fling with toyboy Lincoln Townley - and says the public's reaction was unfair.
"I was being lambasted for splitting up with someone after 24 years of marriage," she told the Mirror.
"I was slated over the break-up but people ignored the fact that it's great that Tim and I have been able to move on and to salvage a friendship."
Denise, 54, said things are "amazing" with Lincoln, who is 14 years younger than her.
"Lincoln has been great, really calming and a fantastic influence in helping me keep it all together. I'm in love," she added.
