Tartan Tulisa checks Scots talent

Tulisa Contostavlos got into the spirit by wearing a tartan top as she checked out the talent at the X Factor auditions in Glasgow.

She joined her fellow judges for the Scottish leg of auditions at the SECC, the latest in the heats to tour the UK.

Chart-topping Tulisa teamed her red, white and black top with a leather bolero-style jacket and a peplum mini-skirt.

And, as ever, she completed her outfit with towering stilettos, regardless of the gloomy weather which prompted an assistant to hold an umbrella over her as she walked the red carpet.

A cheery Louis Walsh was back on the panel after his whistlestop trip across the Atlantic to act as a stand-in judge for the US version of the shows.

Gary Barlow arrived looking relaxed in a finely striped blue and white double-breasted jacket.

And they were joined by the latest guest judge, US singer Anastacia. The I'm Outta Love star follows guest judges such as Geri Halliwell, Rita Ora and Leona Lewis who have taken a turn in preparation for the next series.

Show bosses are still to appoint a permanent fourth judge to replace Kelly Rowland.
