Sutton would consider soap comeback

James Sutton hasn't ruled out returning to soap
Ex-Emmerdale star James Sutton has revealed that he would think about returning to the soap - if the storyline was "right".
The 29-year-old, who played Ryan Lamb in the ITV1 soap before he left last year, admitted the door has been left open for him to reprise the role, as well as his former role as John Paul McQueen in Hollyoaks.
"If the storyline was right and they wanted me to come back, then I would come back. Never say never," he said.
"I haven't died [on screen]. John Paul went to Dublin, and Ryan got in a car to somewhere. I get asked a lot if I'm going to go back to Hollyoaks, but at the moment, they have a really big cast and I don't think there's room for me."
The actor, who has appeared in ITV drama Scott & Bailey and Sky1's Bedlam since leaving Emmerdale, added: "I miss the camaraderie and the people - soaps are such wonderful places to work, because it's like a family environment."
James has set up his own pop-up acting company, Broken Leg Workshops, where he will teach budding thespians with the help of former co-stars including Mark Charnock (Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle), Danny Miller (Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy) and Catherine Tyldesley (Coronation Street's Eva Price) among others.
"I've always wanted to do something like this but never had the opportunity or the contacts to set it up. I am really excited about it," he said.
The first two-day workshop will run in Liverpool on July 28 and 29 - for more, see www.brokenlegworkshops.com.
