Neil Stuke has revealed he often thinks about filming a Game On reunion - and says Samantha Womack is keen too.

Silk star Neil rose to fame after replacing Ben Chaplin in the Ninties sitcom about three flatmates.

And he said he's keen to resurrect his agoraphobic character Matthew.

"And I know Sam wants it to come back," he added.

But what stops him is the thought that it could tank.

"It would be really risky. I'm always mindful of This Life, which didn't work when they brought it back, and you think, what if we did it and it was rubbish?" he said.

Neil, who plays court clerk Billy in BBC legal drama Silk, added that he loves his current role but that he wants to do more comedy now that Reggie Perrin has been axed.

"It just didn't hit the right note but I'd love to do more comedy. I think I upset someone in the comedy department as, even after the success of Game On, I still haven't been employed by comedy at the BBC," he said.

:: Silk continues on BBC One on Tuesdays.
