Steve Peacocke: I'm a fan mail fan
Steve Peacocke tries to reply to all of his fan mail
Home And Away star Steve Peacocke has revealed he really loves getting fan mail.
The Summer Bay hunk, who plays River Boy Darryl 'Brax' Braxton, is not on Twitter like many of his co-stars, but he revealed he does try to write back to fans who take the trouble to put pen to paper.
Steve said: "You get fan mail, which is really nice. I like that a lot. I don't do any of the social networking sort of stuff, I don't do it at all.
"But if someone takes the time to write you a letter, I think that's really lovely, so I try and put a bit of effort in to write back to everyone."
But the shy and modest 30-year-old actor likes to keep a low profile and insists he wouldn't like to take part in any celebrity talent shows, such as Australia's Dancing With The Stars, like co-star Dan Ewing who plays his brother Heath.
Steve said: "It doesn't interest me.
"That's the one funny thing about this job - I just like the acting side of things and I always, as often as I can, don't do the other stuff, like interviews.
"It's not that I'm some great character actor or anything. I'm just not interested in doing the other stuff.
"I just concentrate on the Home And Away stuff. You have to, because it takes up so much of your time and if you're still learning you need to."
