Spencer heading back to Chelsea?
Spencer Matthews says he never left Made In Chelsea
Spencer Matthews is reportedly returning to Made In Chelsea.
The 24-year-old hotel chain heir quit the E4 scripted reality TV show that made him famous after the second series, when he was poached to star in Channel 5 show The Bachelor.
But The Sun reports that Spencer has returned to MIC with his tail between his legs after The Bachelor turned out to be a ratings flop.
The Eton-educated playboy flew to St Tropez in the South of France with other members of the Made In Chelsea cast at the end of July to start filming the fourth season.
Spencer is quoted in The Sun as saying: "I didn't leave Made In Chelsea or get fired. Why leave? It is doing really well in the ratings so it's best to stick with it."
The stock broker's will-they-won't-they romance with childhood friend Caggie Dunlop kept viewers hooked during the first series of the show.
The Bachelor - which starred rugby player Gavin Henson in the first series - sees Spencer dating 24 girls at the same time, eliminating them one by one as they compete to win his heart.
The series has been relegated to an 11pm time slot after viewers fell to 600,000.
