Matt Lapinskas is rumoured to be getting his skates on to compete in Dancing On Ice.
The former EastEnders star, who previously played Anthony Moon, could be joining Coronation Street beauty Samia Ghadie (Maria Connor) and Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle for the next series of the ITV1 show, reported The Sun.
"Matt and Samia will be great. They're good skaters and our viewers love the soap stars," a source told the paper.
"Olympians are competitive people so it was a no-brainer to sign one up. Beth has great poise for obvious reasons and was keen to give it a go. We've seen her on the ice and she's very good. She'll be a great contender."
Dancing On Ice would be Matt's first big gig since he left the BBC One soap in September after a year on the show.
The Only Way Is Essex's Lauren Goodger has denied claims that she will be appearing in the competition, which returns to ITV1 in January 2013.
