Smith up for more Gavin And Stacey

Sheridan Smith would love to see more Gavin And Stacey being made
Sheridan Smith has said that she would like to see more Gavin And Stacey on TV in the future.
The Legally Blonde stage star, who next portrays Charmian Biggs in ITV1 drama Mrs Biggs, played Rudi in the award-winning BBC Three sitcom, created and written by James Corden and Ruth Jones.
"Of course. The whole nation has had their fingers crossed for more Gavin And Stacey," the actress said at the launch of Mrs Biggs.
"Ruth and James are just genius so I think everyone's been wanting it, but I know they're more than busy doing their own thing so fingers crossed that they do. I think it would be brilliant."
James, currently starring in the Broadway comedy One Man, Two Guv'Nors in New York, and Ruth have previously hinted about the possibility of a fourth series or a TV special.
Since Gavin And Stacey, Sheridan has enjoyed small-screen outings in Benidorm and theatre roles in Legally Blonde, Flare Path and the upcoming Hedda Gabler. She will also star in gritty film thriller Tower Block alongside Jack O'Connell and Russell Tovey.
"I love doing comedy and I'd love to still do it. It's nice to be given the opportunity to do something different, step out of your comfort zone and surprise yourself and other people," she said.
:: Mrs Biggs will air on ITV1 in the autumn.
