Nicole Scherzinger tripped up in front of thousands of fans during her first day at the X Factor auditions, according to reports.
The star was also booed after clashing with fellow judge Gary Barlow in Newcastle, the Daily Mirror reported.
Nicole tripped as she made her way to her seat in the Metro Radio Arena.
"You guys didn't see that trip, did you?" she asked fans.
After the audience laughed, she said: "It's my first day, show me some love."
The newspaper said Nicole was jeered after Gary described singer Dale Howard, 17, as "brilliant" while Nicole said the singer's performance was "shaky".
The ex-Pussycat Doll was a guest judge on The X Factor in 2010 and again this year in London during the auditions tour.
She has now joined Gary, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos on the talent show in a reported £750,000 deal.
