Saturdays set for Stateside success

The Saturdays are bringing their brand of girl power to the US
The Saturdays could be following in the footsteps of One Direction and The Wanted, after landing their own TV show on US screens.
The E! ten-episode series, Chasing The Saturdays, will follow the girl group - Rochelle Humes, Una Healy, Vanessa White, Mollie King and Frankie Sandford - as they head to Hollywood and start work on their new album.
"At home back in the UK, we've sort of done what we can do for now. We've had 13 singles, four albums, three tours. We didn't want to leave home until we felt we sort of put our mark on the UK," Rochelle told E! News.
Una said: "We feel that the time is now, with One Direction and The Wanted, they came over here and popped."
Vanessa added: "We're here to bring the girl power."
E! President Suzanne Kolb is thrilled with their new signing. "The Saturdays are a pop phenomenon with magnetic appeal and tremendous talent, and we are excited to capture their next chapter as they win over the hearts and playlists of America," she said.
Vanessa insisted they don't mind the comparisons to fellow British fab five The Spice Girls, who stole the hearts of Americans when they invaded the US in the 90s.
"We don't mind! We love them so much," she said.
Chasing The Saturdays will premiere on US screens from January 20 2013, with a UK premiere in the works
