EastEnders' Phil Mitchell finds himself in a race against time to save his son Ben from jail.
In dramatic scenes to air on Friday night on BBC1, hardman Phil (Steve McFadden) and fiancee Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) speed to the police station to try and stop Ben handing himself in for the murder of Heather Trott.
Ben - played by Joshua Pascoe - has been riddled with guilt after killing Shirley's best friend Heather Trott in March this year, when he hit her on the head with a picture frame during an argument.
Phil helped his son cover up the crime, but when Shirley began to suspect his dad, Ben confessed all to her and is now determined to do the same to the police.
The troubled teen has already spent time in jail, and Phil is on a mercy dash to save his son from spending the rest of his life behind bars for murder.
