EastEnders' Phil Mitchell comes to the rescue of ex-fiancee Shirley Carter next week when she gets herself into a vulnerable situation with a sleazy businessman.
Phil (Steve McFadden) and Shirley (Linda Henry) have been torn apart by the revelation that Phil's son Ben killed Shirley's best friend Heather Mitchell, and Phil kept it hidden from Shirley to try and save his son from jail.
Shirley is still in love with Phil and has been hitting the bottle in a bid to drown her sorrows.
But a drunken night out at Albert Square nightclub R&R gets dangerous, when Shirley is picked up by a sleazy guy and leaves with him.
The drunken businessman refuses to take no for an answer and is trying to force himself on Shirley when Phil turns up as her knight in shining armour and punches him.
The scenes will air on BBC1 on Tuesday September 4.
