Parker backing Roo/Harvey romance

Home And Away star Georgie Parker is pleased that her character Roo Stewart and Harvey Ryan have rekindled their romance.

The soap actress told TV Week show bosses had made the right decision getting them back together, calling them a "funny old couple".

Georgie said: "They do want the best for each other."

Marcus Graham, who plays Harvey, added: "They are wildly attracted to each other and get along so well.

"But because Harvey has been so dodgy there are trust issues that come into it; they have to sort through a lot of their baggage before they come together."

Roo and Harvey are set to become engaged for the second time on the Aussie soap.

After Harvey confesses to sleeping with his ex-wife, Roo's dad Alf sends the couple on a boat trip, telling them to sort things out. Harvey ends up proposing and Roo accepts.

The scenes will air on Home And Away in the UK on Channel 5 later this autumn.
