Lucy Pargeter nearly got married on a trip abroad
Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter has said she almost beat her alter-ego down the aisle.
Her character Chastity Dingle heads down the aisle to marry Dan Spencer in an hour-long live episode next month to celebrate the ITV1 soap's 40th anniversary.
Lucy told The Sun that she almost scooped Chas to it with her fiance of eight years, football coach Rudi Coleano
"We were in Dubai about a month ago and we said: 'Sod it, while we're here, let's do it'," she told the newspaper.
"Then I thought all our mates would be like, 'Oh cheers, thanks for the invite'," Lucy, who has a seven-year-old daughter, Lola, with Rudi, said.
