Jonathan and Charlotte are through to the Britain's Got Talent final
Pop-opera duo Jonathan and Charlotte have won the public vote in the latest Britain's Got Talent semi-final to book their place in the final.
The shy singing duo performed a stunning version of Caruso which impressed the viewers and the judges, with Simon Cowell describing it as one of the all-time highlights of the TV talent show.
Simon said: "We always said we wanted an act that is world class, that's what we got. It was amazing, just amazing. Special moment."
The pair were left almost speechless by the result. Jonathan could only say: "Thank you to everyone. It's unbelievable. Thank you so much."
They will be joined by another pairing - Latin American ballroom dancers Kai and Natalia.
They finished in the top three of the public vote, and were chosen to go to the final ahead of 14-year-old Scottish singer Paige Turley by three of the show's four judges, with only David Walliams choosing Paige.
The judges were full of praise for Kai and Natalia's performance, and Kai said after being picked to go through: "They were fantastic comments and I'm sure we won't let you guys down."
Other contestants who didn't make the final were stunt act Cascade, dance crews Karizma Krew and Four Corners, The Showbears, Fish On Percussion and comedy organist Graham Blackledge.
Meanwhile musical contortionist Lucky is set to amaze the audience in tonight's semi final of Britain's Got Talent. Lucky, real name Leilani Franco, has spent her life being as "flexible as a jellyfish", to use her parents' words.
Other acts appearing in the semi-finals of the ITV show are dance troupe Area 51, 11-year-old singer Molly Rainford, xylophone player Ashley Elliot, 17, and Dennis Egel, 42, a German window dresser, who sang on the show and delighted the audience in the auditions with his elaborate gold costume.
