Oaks Scarlett: I love acting crazy

Hollyoaks star Scarlett Bowman has confessed she loves playing Maddie Morrison because it's fun to play someone bold.

The blonde actress told the soap's official website she thinks her character is completely crazy, but she likes it.

Scarlett said: "I enjoy playing her because she's a b**** and I'm not going to lie it's quite fun to play a b****."

The soap star also insisted she is nothing like the wild-child student she plays, and is insulted when assume she is.

She said: "I'm not like Maddie, definitely not. Maddie is a psychopath - she's crazy, she's an absolute nightmare!

"People think I am like her though which is really quite offensive. I'm nothing like Maddie, I'm Scarlett."

Scarlett revealed Maddie never lets anyone know her real feelings, because she is too paranoid.

She said: "She thinks people are always judging her when really they're not and she doesn't want people thinking bad things about her, which they don't, so she just makes the situation worse 'cause she's a psycho."
