New season for BBC nature show

Chris Packham is one of the hosts of Winterwatch
The BBC is extending its popular seasonal live nature shows by introducing a Winterwatch series next year.
The programme will launch in January with a four-night run hosted by the regular Springwatch and Autumnwatch team of Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Martin Hughes-Games.
Show bosses are also moving Autumnwatch - which returns to BBC2 on October 30 - to a new location for its next run, with filming taking place at the Aigas Field Centre, in the Scottish Highlands, by the River Beauly.
The show's camera crews will visit wild spots around the UK, reporting on the seasonal changes and developments, as well as taking an in-depth look at red deer and bird migration from the Arctic.
The BBC said Winterwatch will be "following the same format and allowing viewers to catch up on all the developments as the seasons change".
Autumnwatch cameras will be relaying images 24 hours a day online and on red button services from October 28 to November 2.
