Metcalfe: I'm warming to kids idea

Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe has admitted that working with her on-screen son has made her think more about having kids.

The actress plays feisty Mercedes Fisher, who gave birth to baby Bobby last year, and confessed she was smitten with her young co-star.

"I'm not ready to pop one out yet, but Jacob - who plays Bobby - is perfect. I'm warming to the idea," she told Star magazine.

Jennifer lives with her French ice-skater boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon, who she met while competing in last year's Dancing On Ice.

"It's amazing. We work very well together - and he's good around the house!" she said.

"Sylvain wants to get married and have a family, and, one day, I'd love to, too.

"Let's see where we're at in five years."
