Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna's father has passed away - just weeks after his daughter's wedding.
Dennis Merna, who gave the actress away at her star-studded nuptials to Ian Minton at the end of May, reportedly died in his sleep on Saturday.
An insider told The Sun the 27-year-old soap star has been left "shocked" by the news.
Gemma wed her long-term partner Ian in a glitzy ceremony in Merseyside, where her bridesmaids included Hollyoaks co-stars Jennifer Metcalfe, Jorgie Porter and Nicole Barber Lane.
The couple went on to honeymoon in Las Vegas.
