Marge goes Gaga on The Simpsons

Lady Gaga is to cause her usual stir when she appears on The Simpsons.

The 26-year-old Born This Way singer appears in the final episode of season 23 called Lisa Goes Gaga, to help cheer Lisa up after she becomes a social outcast.

Gaga said of her appearance on the show: "I play a bit of a slut. The apple doesn't fall far from my artistic tree."

The singer has 18 costume changes during her appearance on the hit cartoon, including her infamous meat dress.

She snogs mother Marge and inspires baby Maggie to imitate her by wearing a bra made out of dummies.

She added: "I make music, but I don't do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humour. I would say this is one of the coolest things I've ever done.

"My dad's probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out."
