Lemon to make cameo on cobbles?

Keith Lemon has revealed he'd love to make a guest appearance on Coronation Street.

The Celebrity Juice host said he was relying on Samia Ghadie, who plays hairdresser Maria Connor, to make the cameo happen.

"I suppose my favourite soap would be Coronation Street because I know more people in Corrie than I know in any other soaps - I'm like, 'Hey how's it going Michelle Keegan', 'Are you alright, Samia Ghadie?' that sort of thing," he explained.

"I'm always telling Samia Ghadie [I want a cameo] because she seems to be my gateway into Coronation Street and she always introduces me to the producers and writers at showbiz events.

"She says, 'I'm going to get you in' but all I want to do is be in the hairdressers and go, 'You've cut it too short, I'm never coming here again'. That's all I want to do."

Keith, who presented Michelle Keegan (Corrie's Tina McIntyre) with the British Soap Award for Sexiest Female, said he was "very happy" with his new movie Keith Lemon: The Film.

"We had a test audience watching it in April, I'm very happy with it, it's a lovely film," he said.

"It's rude, it's silly, it's daft and it's warm. It's me, I have aspirations to follow the success of Richard Branson and I become an overnight billionaire and that's the moral of the story... and there are some intimate scenes with Kelly Brook."
